Which panel suits the job?
Walls. Foilboard Green rigid panels are foil faced boards for walls, floors and roofs. Kooltherm K8 Cavity Board puts a phenolic core between two foil faces for cavity walls, and Kooltherm K12 Framing Board is foil faced on both sides for timber and steel frame walls. Kooltherm K17 and K18 insulated plasterboard bond the insulation to the plasterboard, so the wall is insulated and lined in one board. K17 carries 25 mm to 90 mm of insulation on 10 mm of plasterboard.
Floors and slabs. Kingspan Kooltherm K3 Floor Board is loose laid on the slab or fitted between the joists of a suspended floor. Slabmate Pro is a water resistant slab insulation panel with higher compressive strength than standard Slabmate. DCT XPS GA 300 is a rot proof extruded polystyrene board for roofs, walls and floors.
Soffits. Kooltherm K10 Soffit Board suits concrete soffits with a silver or white foil face. K10 Plus adds a fibre cement outer face with a Group 1 fire rating. Autex GreenStuf Soffit and Slab Liner is a thermal and acoustic lining for masonry soffits.
Noise. Autex Quietspace Panel is a pre-finished high density polyester acoustic panel. Recital Core polyester acoustic panels control reverberation in commercial, education and hospitality spaces. Glasswool acoustic panels are 32 kg/m3 semi rigid sheets for commercial and industrial work. Hushtec Performance panels are built for noise mitigation on construction and demolition sites.
Garages. The garage door insulation kit covers the one panel most homes forget.
