The insulation blanket is manufactured by spinning molten glass into fine wool-like fibers bonded together using plant-based binders. Bradford Anticon adheres to Heavy Duty, Medium Duty to Light Duty, or reflective foil laminate facing. This product is designed for Australian homes with metal roofs to control temperatures and reduce external noise such as rain, wind, etc.
Installation of Bradford Anticon Roof Insulation Blanket
Anticon insulation is recommended for residential housing with metal clad roofs, in commercial and industrial buildings with metal clad and fiber cement roofs and can be installed under concrete slabs in car parks. The reflective foil facing extends 150mm beyond one longitudinal edge of the glass wool blanket to enable it to be correctly sealed and prevent thermal bridging. Bradford Anticon is designed to insulate and control temperatures within a building and reduce noise.
