Trade Select® VapourTech® Brane® VHP is a high-performance, triple-layer vapour permeable wall wrap designed for use in a wide range of wall systems in both residential and commercial applications. Classified as a Class 4 Vapour Permeable membrane, it allows very high levels of water vapour to absorb and diffuse through its core non-woven structure, effectively controlling condensation risk while preventing external liquid water from penetrating inwards .
Constructed with a durable triple-layer design, VapourTech® Brane® VHP serves as a water barrier and is air permeable, ensuring optimal breathability and moisture management within wall assemblies. It is chemically non-reactive, making it suitable for use in conjunction with treated timber and in salt-laden coastal environments .
Application:
VapourTech® Brane® VHP is intended for use as a wall wrap behind fibre cement and timber cladding in most Australian climates. It is not recommended for use in Climate Zone 1; for such applications, a Class 1 or 2 Vapour Barrier should be selected instead. The product is available in various roll sizes, including widths of 1370 mm, 1500 mm, 2740 mm, and 3050 mm, to accommodate different project requirements .
