Description
Polastic Insulation System 3-in-1 Insulation | Thermal Break | BUILDING WRAP
Polastic Insulation is a high performance 3-in-1 reflective insulation, thermal break and vapour-permeable water barrier that effectively blocks all three types of heat transfer: radiant, convective and conductive. Polastic Insulation is designed to provide a complete thermal insulation and building wrap solution, in one single product. Polastic Insulation is scientifically engineered to perform in real-life built environments in all weather conditions and climate locations throughout Australia
Polastic Insulation System PREVENTs thermal bridging & Condensation
Polastic Insulation is a continuous cover, 3-in-1 insulation, that protects against thermal bridging, condensation and air infiltration.
Considered best practice by building scientists, continuous cover insulation moves the dew point location to outside the wall or roof cavity, reducing the potential for condensation to occur inside the building envelope where mould and mildew could otherwise accumulate.
APPLICATIONS
Polastic Insulation is designed for both commercial and residential projects and can be installed in numerous wall, roof, ceiling, floor or soffit applications, in accordance with applicable Building Code criteria. Polastic Insulation can be applied to cool room, transportable home and commercial box gutter applications. Please contact us to obtain current information pertaining to the acceptable uses of Polastic Insulation based on actual project requirements including the building class, construction type and intended application.
Innovative design & technology
Polastic Insulation comprises a specially engineered fire retardant expanded polystyrene (FR-EPS) core, together with dual reflective surfaces featuring an ultra-thin, technologically advanced film, similar to Mylar®. This unique, innovative combination of design, technology and thermal performance make Polastic Insulation the most effective, entirely non-conductive, 3-in-1 insulation
solution available in Australia.
